Hytera supplied its latest BP5 series DMR business radios and an HR106X repeater. This is delivering full coverage in allareas and has greatly enhanced the speed and quality of customer service.
The Background
Since its opening in December 2011, the Hotel Nikko Saigon has become alandmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 23-storey luxury hotel offers 334 rooms with three underground levels. Facilities indlude a business center, fitness club, swimming pool and spa.

Efficient operations and seamless service are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. However, the limitations of the hotel’s previous communication system were negatively impacting service efficiency, so a new radio network was required.
The Challenge:
To provide reliable, seamless communications throughoutthe 23-storey hotel and basement areas
The main challenge to providing seamless communications throughout the hotelis the building’s height. The existing traditional communication system struggled to facilitate instant communication between floors. This led to delays in imparting information, which hindered efficient staff coordination and timely service. This issue wasparticularly problematic during peak service times when communication inefficiencies significantly disruptedthe hotel’s daily operations.
The Solution
To address this challenge, Hotel Nikko Saigon chose to install a Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) system using Hytera BP5 series handheld two-way radios and the HR1068 repeater. The deployment of the repeater enhanced the signal coverage, making communication throughout the hotel more stable and reliable.
The BPS series radios were specifically designed by Hytera for use in business and commercial sectors. They offeran extended range and a number of productivity and efficiency-increasing features, induding crystal-dear audio quality, ensuring that hotel staff can seamlessly communicate across different floors.
The BPS series radios also boast an impressive battery life, lasting an entire day ona single charge. This reducesthe need for frequent recharging and eliminates the embarrassing situation of running out of battery and losing communication during a service shift in the hotel.
